Dell Inspiron 15 3000 is equipped with an Intel Pentium N3710 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive, you will be able to run a few applications at a time, but pushing it too far might cause quite a few performance issues. Hight-end gaming is not suggested on this laptop as you would face a lot of frame drops during the gameplay. The Inspiron 15 3000 has an integrated Intel HD Graphics 405 Chip That comes with the Pentium N3710, I would not recommend graphic-intensive games or tasks on this laptop.

Acer Aspire 5 With a 1-GHz Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB PCle NVMe SSD, and an Intel UHD Graphics GPU. The Aspire is capable of running a few tasks together like Youtube, Documents, and school work. The overall performance of the laptop is great. You can play High-end games like GTA 5, and Witcher 3 in their lowest settings. The overall gaming experience will be smooth without much of a frame drop. In the video editing sector, it might take quite a lot of time to render 4K videos. The Aspire uses an Intel integrated GPU which is optional and doesn’t create that much of a difference in the performance of the laptop.

KEYBOARD & TRACKPAD

The Keyboard of the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 is not that bad. It looks very premium than it feels, the laptop neither has a Backlit keyboard nor does the Power button light up, you have to be entirely dependent on the light coming off the screen in dark environments. The Build Quality of the trackpad feels like plastic and is okay to use as per the price-point of the laptop.

The keyboard of the Acer Aspire 5 is quite good. It looks and feels premium enough and also has the backlit keyboard function just like the prior generation of the Aspire had. The key switches have a good amount of key travel as well. Depending on the specification you go for, you might also get a fingerprint reader on the trackpad. It also has a tap to click feature.

CONCLUSION

The Acer Aspire 5 is a great laptop overall because it is lightweight and has striking looks. The quality and the resolution of the screen is quite good for this price segment. The keyboard and the trackpad are very comfortable and useful as it has an additional feature of a fingerprint reader embedded on the trackpad that is a huge plus point. If you have a budget of 500 dollars then I would suggest you go for it.
